Mass COVID-19 vaccination conducted

Imp/Kak/Tbl, July 03 2021: In continuation of the COVID-19 preventive measures, mass vaccination was conducted at Thoubal District Hospital, PHC Lilong and Yairipok CHC in Thoubal district today.

As per a report from District Vaccination Programme, Nodal Officer, Dr Ksh Memcha, a total of 65,174 persons have been vaccinated with the first dose of Covid vaccine as of Friday.

Moreover, Thoubal District Administration also organised a Covid mass vaccination at 'Madrasa Alia Lilong' in Lilong Bazar yesterday.

A total of 152 persons were vaccinated during the mass vaccination.

Lilong AC MLA, Y Antas Khan; Lilong SDO, S Daulat Khan and Lilong PS OC, Md Riyaj Khan also visited the vaccination site.

Similarly, volunteers of Nongpok Ningthou Youth Association, Laimanai Youth Club, Top-Chingtha Youth Progressive Organization in association with Top-Chingtha GP Pradhan, Yumnam Tomba and Ward members of the GP organised a mass vaccination at Top-Chintha Chingtha Nongpok Ningthou Panthoibi Community Hall in Imphal East Keirao Bitra Block yesterday.

During the mass vaccination organised under the supervision of 16-Tulihal Zilla Parishad member & Vaccination Committee BJP Manipur Pradesh State incharge, Kongbam Inaocha Devi, a total of 300 beneficiaries were vaccinated.

Later, K Inaocha Devi also distributed face masks, sanitizers and medicines.

Community Health Centre, CHC Wangoo with the assistance of ASHA workers and Covid Task Force also organised a mass vaccination at Wangoo Kashartabi Community Hall yesterday.

A total of 150 persons were vaccinated on the day.
