ABVP holds meet on education sector

The 62nd national conference of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) held at Rani Durgamati Nagar, Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh from December 24 to 26, resolved to take up various initiatives for improving the education sector.
Informing this during a press meet held at ABVP Manipur office located at Wangkhei Keithel Ashangbi here on Sunday, ABVP state secretary RK Rabichandra said that the conference also resolved to take up measures to address issues concerning education sector in the state and to make sports a compulsory part of campus activities of the union.
He also informed that Kshetrimayum Sangita, Ahongsangbam Rameshwari and Akash Satpute from Manipur have been elected as members of ABVP national executive council.
Sristi Foundation's founder Karthikeyan Ganesan wras also honoured with Youth Award during the conference, he added.
