Molester remanded to 4-day in police custody

Special Judge (POCSO), Imphal East on Monday remanded a man accused of abducting a minor girl for many days and sexually assaulting her, to four days in police custody.
The accused person has been identified as Alif Khan (24) s/o Hakim of Sangaiyumpham Sabal Leikai.
According to the report submitted to the court by IO of the case, the mother of the victim filed a report at Imphal East PS on November 7 stating that her minor daughter had been abducted from the entrance of the rental property they are staying in by unknown persons around 2pm on October 4.Based on the report, the PS registered a case and conducted an investigation.
During the course of the investigation, the police received information on October 7 that the girl was in Mayang Imphal area.
A police team was dispatched and the girl was rescued, while the accused Alif Khan was arrested.
The police talked with the victim in the presence of her family, wherein she revealed that she was sexually assaulted multiple times.
As the accused needs to undergo medical examination and further interrogation, the IO made a prayer to the Court to remand him (accused) to four days in police custody.
After listening to the IO's report, the Court accepted the prayer and remanded Alif Khan to four days in police custody till November 11 .
