RK Imo seeks public support, assures dedicated service

While appealing to the people of Sagolband assembly constituency to extend support to him 6 months before the election, MLA RK Imo assured of dedicating the remaining 4.5 years of the ongoing term in the service of the people.
He made the statement during the inauguration function of a public toilet organised by Paona Bazar Development Committee at Masjid Road here on Sunday.
In his speech, MLA RK Imo said that Sagolband AC could be regarded as a mini Manipur and called for concerted efforts to help in making it a model constituency.
He then appreciated the denizens of the constituency for re-electing him three times, while adding that those residing in Paona Bazar have a key role to play in this regard.
Further mentioning the works undertaken in the constituency and those to be taken up in the future, the MLA informed that the second phase of 'Go to Leikai' for Ward no 24 will commence from August 22 at Kakhulong Balwadi School.
He urged the people of the Ward to avail the various government schemes while assuring of prevailing upon the authorities concerned for upgrading the road along Nambul river to a one-way street.
The inaugural function was attended by IMC caretaker mayor L Lokeshwar; Ward No 24 corporator G Bino; Ward No 7 corporator RK Jiten; Ward No 10 corporator RK Tiken; Ward No 4 corporator L Arunkumar; Ward No 3 corporator H Nutanchandra; Ward No 2 corporator Th Purnachandra; and Ward No 8 ex-corporator K Tiken.
