RIMS security barrack No 2 inaugurated

RIMS director Prof A Santa Singh inaugurated a 60-bedded Security Barrack No 2 at RIMS on Thursday.
Speaking at the event, the Director appreciated Ma-nipur Security Service for taking active roles as front line warriors during the Covid-19 pandemic while maintaining that the medical institute has provided one of the best security barracks to accommodate the civil security personnel and also enhanced their salary at par with other central institutes.
According to a release issued by RIMS media advisor N Phillip, the Director also urged the Manipur Security Service to work with alertness and assist the duty doctors or officials in the hospital/institute for smooth functioning.
The director also stressed on the importance of keeping hospital/institute including its campus neat and clean especially during this pandemic and urged the Manipur Security Service to organise social service activities regularly starting from October 2.Meanwhile, RIMS MS Prof Nepram Sahjib Singh appreciated the Director for providing one of the best security barracks to accommodate 60 civil security personnel.
He also spoke about the important roles and responsibility of the civil security personnel and asked them not to be complacent.
RIMS deputy director (admin) K Doungel, chief account officer/FA E Debendro Meitei, consultant (civil)-I Y Jogeshwar Singh, officials and staff, officials of Manipur Security Services and civil security personnel attended the inaugural function.
