Covid-19: 12 cases reported in Ccpur, 19 recover

Imphal, August 26 2021: Churachandpur district on Thursday reported 12 new cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours taking the number of active cases to 216 .

The 12 new cases were reported from among the general population and they include five females, informed a release issued by district information officer Churachandpur.

It also said that the 12 cases were reported out of a total of 121 people tested on Rapid Antigen Test (RAT), three through RTPCR and one through TrueNAT.

With the new detection, the district has so far registered a total of 9559 Covid-19 cases with 9171 already recovered as on Thursday.

There were no deaths related to Covid-19 in the district in the past 24 hours.

The DIO report also informed that there are 54 beds in the Covid-19 dedicated Ward out of which only 13 are occupied.
