BJP Thoubal district convenes joint meet

Thoubal, September 25 2021:
BJP Thoubal District Committee organised a joint meet of the party at Thoubal Melaground on Saturday.
During the meet, Assam minister and party's election co-in-charge for Manipur Ashok Singhal spoke about Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya in connection with BJP co-founder's 79th birth anniversary.
BJP is unlike Congress party which has the culture of imitating leaders.
It is a people-oriented party giving equal treatment to all sections of the society and committed to bringing equal development, he said, adding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has enabled lakhs of poor people to open bank account with zero balance while youths have been given jobs.
He also spoke about the role to be played by party workers at the state, district, Mandal, booth and grassroots level for ensuring an exclusively BJP government in Manipur after the 2022 election.
Apart from functionaries of BJP Thoubal district, Mandals, Mahila Morcha, Yuva Mor-cha, Minority Morcha, Kishan Morcha and Scheduled Caste Morcha and Karyakata, the joint meet was also attended by BJP Manipur Pradesh general secretary P Prema-nanda Meitei, Thoubal district president Yumnam Kumarjit, Heirok MLA Dr Thokchom Radheshyam, Wangjing-Tentha MLA Paonam Brojen, BJP former vice-president and aspiring candidate in Khang-abok AC Thokchom Jadumani and spokesperson and former minister Dr Nimaichand Lu-wang.
Party's aspiring candidate in Thoubal AC Leitanthem Basanta (Bhim), Lilong AC aspirant candidate Md Anwar Hussain, BJP state executive members Dr Ako-isana, Kh Menjor Mangang and Kharibam Jeevan were also present at the event.
