Observing that everyone wants development, IPS (retired) Th Basanta, who is the BJP intending candidate in Nambol AC, categorically stated that construction of some community halls and clubs is not a sign of development.
Availability of potable water; electricity and proper roads are definitions development, he added.

The roads in Sabal Leikai will be black-topped within a month and will provide potable water so as mitigate the burden of buying water by the people, he assured.
During the Congress government, 30 per cent of the households in the state availed potable water while it is 60 per cent under the present BJP led government, Basanta said, while adding that more development activities will be taken up in Nambol.
