PNHN fetes NSCN leader Ashiho

Poumai Naga Hoho Nagaland (PNHN) felicitatedNSCN/ GPRN collective leadership W Ashiho Asoumai during the felicitation and thanksgiving programme organised by it at Poumai Baptist Church, 5th Mile Chumoukedima near Nagaland's commercial capital Dimapur on Sunday.
According to a release, PNHN president Ng Siilunii Rapaobamai in his welcome address stated that Poumai Naga as whole must sincerely pray and honour one another to uplift the Naga 'country'.
As part of the function, PNHN advisor P H Shesou along with other religious leaders prayed and blessed W Ashiho Asoumai for his future endeavour, it added.
The release continued that various religious and social leaders also shared their happiness on his achievement and acknowledged leaders of NSCN/GPRN for being sincere and giving fair share of leadership towards Poumai Naga community.
Expressing gratitude to his fellow Poumai community in particular and Naga brethren general, Ashiho also stated that this highest Naga nationalist rank was his dream ever since he joined as Naga revolutionary.
He also requested the Poumai community to uphold him in their prayer for his new assignment, it conveyed.
The release further mentioned that PS Shimray Kidu on behalf of PMWW congratulated him and shared Ashiho's achievements.
The programme was chaired by Dahru Veino and God's blessing invoked by pastor Ng Matthew with closing prayer conducted by pastor L David.
