Awareness campaign on price rise continues

Imphal, November 24 2021: In continuation of Jan Jagran Abhiyan, a public awareness campaign being organised in Thongju assembly constituency from November 21 to raise public awareness on rising prices of essential items, Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) general secretary and intending Congress candidate from Thongju AC Sanglakpam Preshyojit on Wednesday organised campaign at Uchekon Nongpok Gram Panchayat, Uchekon Nongchup GP, Thongju Part 1 GP and Thongju Part 2 GP .

During the campaign, Congress workers raised slogans against the ever-rising prices of essential items.

Speaking on the occasion, S Preshyojit explained that Jan Jagran Abhiyan, which began in Thongju AC from November 21, intends to highlight the impact of rising prices of essential items on the poor and general population and to teach the government a lesson.
