Dingo inspects social welfare, fishery stalls

Imphal, November 30 2022:
Social Welfare minister Heikham Dingo inspected the stalls of social welfare and fisheries departments set up for Manipur Sangai festival at Hapta Kangjeibung on Wednesday.
Speaking on the sidelines of the inspection, minister Dingo reminded that the festival held at 13 different locations under the supervision of chief minister N Biren has brought closeness among the different communities living in the state and people from every nook and corner of the state can have the taste of the festival.
As such, people from all the communities should support the chief minister and the government in bringing oneness among the communities.
He continued that people will surely see Sangai Festival this year as unique and the traditional huts of different communities set up at Moirang Khunou event site attracted a lot of people.
The inspection was also attended by social welfare director Ng Uttam and several other officials of the department.
