Discipline must to succeed in life: MLA Keba

Asserting that discipline and manner are important parts of human lives, Patsoi MLA S Kunjakeswor alias Keba has stressed the need for maintaining discipline under the guidance of their parents for students to attain success in their lives.
Speaking at a motivational programme for students and guardians organised by Imphal Valley Academy and Acad Kota based Coaching Centre held at the former's campus at Ghari, here, on Friday, the MLA emphasised that students should always pay heed to their parents and convince them through subtle ways to pursue career of their choice.
Blessings of the parents are important in achieving success, he said and also assured of renovating the approach road to the academy from Tiddim Road soon.
Social scientist Dr Dhanabir Laishram said that a peaceful family and affectionate parents are more important than tall buildings for grooming good children.
He niotivated the students by narrating the life and works of Hijam Irabot and also highlighted the role of parents in guiding their children, understanding their passion & needs so that they could nurture their talents in the right way in order to bring success in their lives.
Journalist Sonia Sorengsangbam, who also attended the programme, said that there is no tailor-made success formula other than hard work and determination.
Youth are the pillars of the society and its future, and they should understand their responsibilities in order to become responsible citizens in their lives, she said, while encouraging them to put their energy for achieving new goals beneficial to both their personal lives and the society as well.
At the same time, parents should never force their children to pursue a career in which their children have no interest as it will only lead to failure and dejection in their lives, she added.
Imphal Valley Academy founder cum chairman Thangjam Bimolchandra and NEET 2020 eighth position holder Sidhan also attended the programme.
