Prof Deben then said that the media has a key role to play with regard to the project, by helping to communicate the message to the people and making them realise their responsibilities.
It is time to set an example that the society will not tolerate child sexual abuse and anyone found guilty of the same will be punished as per the law of the land, he maintained.
Urging the people to support the Psychiatry Department to help in making the project successful, the JNIMS director extended his full support to the project, while expressing his firm belief that the proj ect will help prevent child sexual abuse by training people how to tackle the same.
