Imphal, October 06 2010:
Denying connection with the incident that took place at Yumnam Huidrom Mayai Leikai on October 4, chief commander of KCP (MTF) Kesho Meitei has warned of taking up extreme action against Chirom Tiken alias Prem Kumar of Waheng Khuman Mamang Leikai, Santosh of Yaingangpokpi and Dilip of Thinungei, Bishnupur, who were involved in the said incident.
Directing the parents of these three persons to bring back their respective children to the right direction, the outfit further warned that similar action would also be taken against the parents and other family members if the directive is not complied with.
The outfit also asked the people to contact it if any of these persons were trying to extort money from them in the name of KCP (MTF) .
Stating that Tiken alias Prem Kumar of Waheng Khuman Mamang Leikai is a gangster, Kesho Meitei said that KCP (MTF) would penalise all those who were found going along with Tiken or establishing contact with him and the parents should ensure that their children stay away from him.
Kesho Meetei further clarified that KCP(MTF) has no connection with the four persons reportedly killed by Bishnupur Police Commandos during an encounter at Mutum Yangpi last night.
They were a gang misusing the name of KCP (MTF) to extort money from the public.
The family members should not perform the customary rituals and last rites of them and anyone defying this diktat would be dealt with seriously, Kesho Meitei warned.
