Imphal, May 26 2012:
Volunteers of AMSU, MSF, DESAM, KSA, SWAK and SUK sustained their drive against goods made in Karnataka.
Incense sticks, eatable items and other articles made in Karnataka were confiscated from shops located at Telipati, Chingmeirong, Mantripukhri and North AOC.
This was informed by DESAM general secretary Arambam Thoithoi during a press meet today.
He also appealed to all shopkeepers and traders not to deal in goods manufactured or brought from Karnataka.
He said that it was time for all the people to join hands and knock at the door of Chief Minister O Ibobi.

He also asked all counsellors of Karnataka based educational institutions to remove all the hoardings and advertisements put up at Imphal by tomorrow.
Informing that there are 11 counselling agents in Manipur, Thoithoi asked the agents to leave Manipur and go back to Karnataka.
Noting that 11 stalls of Karnataka are taking part in the Edufest being held Nupi Lan complex, the DESAM general secretary asserted that the 11 stalls should stay away from counselling any student or parent of the State.
