CorCom, ULFA-I claim

Imphal, November 21 2016:
The Coordination Committee (CorCom) of People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak, People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (Progressive), Revolutionary People's Front and United National Liberation Front and United Liberation Front of Asom [ULFA-Independent] , a constituent member of United National Liberation Front of WESEA (UNLFW), undertook a joint military operation christened 'Barak' against India.
Under Operation Barak, a joint team attacked the 15 Kumaon Regiment of Indian Army at Burhi Dihing, Tinsukia, Assam on November 19 at 5.30 am.
Five soldiers were killed and four or more were injured.
The joint team also managed to snatch two weapons (one AK Rifle and one INSAS Rifle), conveyed a press release signed by CorCom Joint Military Commission (JMC) Chairman MM Ngouba and ULFA-Independent Vice Chairman cum COAS Maj Gen Paresh Asom.
JMC Chairman MM Ngouba and ULFA-Independent Vice Chairman cum COAS Maj Gen Paresh Asom have also expressed gratitude to the joint team for their act of bravado against Indian Army, Commander of Joint Tactical Operations Centre (JTOC) for this successful operation and fraternal organisations of WESEA and Asom and Naga peoples for their kind helps.
