"Martyrs' Day"

Imphal, November 12 2011:
The proscribed PREPAK has observed "martyrs' day" in all its central headquarters, general headquarters, first battalion, second battalion, third battalion and across Kangleipak.
At the Ghqs, the outfit's Deputy Chief of Army Staff flew the party's flag at half-mast and the gathering observed two-minutes silence as a mark of respect to all the revolutionary cadres who have sacrificed their lives in the course of the liberation movement, conveyed a press release issued by the outfit's publicity and propaganda assistant secretary Leibakngakpa Luwang.

Later, the Red Army offered floral tributes at the memorial tomb of the martyrs.
People also joined the observance by offering lights to the martyrs at the gates of their households, it added.
