MPA observes raising day all over

The armed wing of the United National Liberation Front (UNLF), the Manipur People's Army (MPA) observed its 30th raising day from 9 am today in different parts of the State and at other places.
A press release issued by M Sak-hen (director, department of publicity) stated that MPA observed its 30th raising day at the various establishments of the organisation in different parts of the State as well as at other places.

According to the press release, MPA chief of army staff Ng Pamheiba, UNLF standing committee and MAC chairman Kh Pambei, M Iboyaima (secretary, dept of finance), I Tonsana (vice chief of army staff) and various directors, staff officers, GHQs GSO staffs, MPA officers, cadres of NGO and MPA took part in the raising day observation which was organised at UNLF general HQs.
Ksh Yoiheiba (secretary of HRD), O Chingkheinganbi (secretary of Health), Y Puyaning (principal, Political and Military Academy), the Director of Dept of Minorities Affairs, Staff Officers of various depts, different party members and cadres observed the raising day at the Central HQs.
UNLF general secretary Y Yaimachou and family welfare secretary S Tamphajao attended the raising day observation at MPA 293 battalion as the presidium members while Ch Thanil (dept of minorities affairs secretary) and M Chaoba (secretary organisation and CO 241 BN) attended the observation at 241 battalion as the presidium members.
The press release pointed out that the raising day was also observed at 291 Battalion, external affairs and regional affairs units, district units, tactical units etc.
The organisation's flag was hoisted as a part of the function and the members observed two minute silence in respect of the martyrs along with discussion of the latest developments and situations, it added.
The organisation further expressed their gratitude to the supporters as well as the media.
