Lamka, September 05 2015 :
Churches across the district are set to conduct mass prayer on Sunday even as violence dodges the district for successive days in the midst of uneasy calm prevailing in the district.
The JAC, while requesting the Churches to organise the mass prayer, announced relaxation of restrictions for all activities except Government institutions and its offices.
The JAC today decided that schools within the district should resume their classes on Monday but requested the school authorities to conduct condolence meetings at their own level and arrange black batches for all students.

The JAC also appealed to the general public for restraint and pleaded that no further damage be done to public properties or the residences of public leaders, MDCs and institutions.
They have also hailed the initiatives taken by Church bodies, philanthropic organisations, Village Authorities and Women Unions even as it encouraged them to continue their support to the JAC.
Meanwhile, women folk today held a sit-in-protest and prayer meetings, on the streets, across the district.
The sit-in which began immediately after JAC's restrictions winded up at noon are set to continue till late night.
