A photograph captured Laishram Shamungou, Senior Staff Reporter of The Sangai Express has been listed in this week's best 25 photographs selected by the World Bird Trust.
A photograph of Black-Breasted Parrotbill captured by Laishram Shamungou at Keibul has been placed in the third position among the 25 best photographs selected by the World Bird Trust from all the photographs submitted by wildlife photographers/birders from across the world on the theme 'Endemic Birds' .

Black-Breasted Parrotbill has been categorised as an endangered species.
Moreover, Laishram Shamungou's photograph of Olive-Backed Pipit was placed in the 12th position among 25 best photographs of birds selected by the World Bird Trust last month on the theme 'Migrants' .
On the other hand, according to information received from the Wildlife Institute of India, Chiulon, the Amur Falcon fitted with satellite radio transmitter in Tamenglong district has reached China's Guizhou province after roosting the winter season in South Africa.
