Court remands Myanmar Nationals

Imphal, October 01 2021:
Chief Judicial Magistrate Imphal West remanded 11 Myanmar Nationals who were arrested while trying to board a flight to New Delhi from Imphal using fake Aadhaar cards into 6 days police custody.
The Myanmar Nationals were produced before the Court by a team of Singjamei police along with a prayer for 8 days police custody remand.
The IO of the case through APP submitted that they (the Myanmar Nationals) entered into Indian soil using fake Aadhaar cards.
To interrogate thoroughly and to track the persons who helped in making the fake Aadhaar cards they are highly required to be remanded into police custody, said the IO.
The Court on perusal of the case record and after hearing the submission of the IO remanded the 11 Myanmar Nationals into 6 days police custody till September 6 .
Three other CCL were also produced before JJB Imphal West .
All the arrested 14 Myanmar Nationals are from different village of Chin State Myanmar.
