Imphal, September 30 2012:
There is no question of split nor any case of tussle for the post of leadership within NCP Manipur unit, said the party's president MLA L Ibomcha.
He was speaking at the inaugural function of NCP Manipur unit's head office at Thouda Bhabok Leikai under Keishamthong AC today.
Responding to a query put up by reporters, Ibomcha said that the party was kept inactive for almost three months before it was activated recently.
Though former president Radhabinod Koijam was sacked from his post, he did not hand over any documents related to the party.
Even though Radhabinod Koijam is still a member of the party, he may be expelled from the party by the party's central leaders for his involvement in financial mismanagement, said Ibomcha.

The opening function of the party office was earlier slated on October 10 in presence of central leaders but it was preponed to September 30 in commemoration of Lamyanba Hijam Irabot.
Though NCP is a national party, it would pay special attention to local issues.
Talking about Inner Line Permit System, Ibomcha recalled that the State Government recommended the Centre to implement ILPS in Manipur after taking a resolution in the State Assembly to this effect.
As the matter of implementing ILPS is included in the Union List, the State Government recommended the Centre to enact a suitable law.
In addition, NCP would raise the matter with Central leaders so that the issue is discussed in the Parliament, Ibomcha said.
