Khaibiaklian prepares to contest poll from Singngat AC

Yet another intending candidate from 60-Singngat Assembly Constituency, Khaibiaklian, a social worker and current BJP party general secretary (admins) was met by this correspondent on Thursday.
During the interaction, Khaibiaklian disclosed that he intends to join politics by becoming an MLA from 60-Singngat A/C as he has been involving in the grassroots level politics and seen the hardships of the people.
The candidate aspirant said that he wanted to address grievances of the people and take steps to empower them in every aspect of their lives, while adding that there has been complete lack of empowerment of the people due to which they do not know how to lead a meaningful life and spend their scarce resources in a profitable manner.
Khaibiaklian opined that skill training is important for the purpose.
He also said that he is interested in developmental activities in all aspects of life but not at the cost of land and property.
He further said that his chance of getting elected is high by virtue of his position
as BJP general secretary (admins), provided he gets the party ticket for which he is confident.
Khaibiaklian also expressed his concern over the nomination of non-tribals as HAC members and the failure to table the ADC 2021 Act and said that in case he gets elected the issue would be addressed through the right platform.
Khaibiaklian was talking to this correspondent on the sidelines of his declaration meeting with his workers and relatives, with a blessing prayer for his success by Rev Hangmuanlian, director Youth and Mission TBC on Wednesday.
