GoI ropes in service of Dr Augustine

Imphal, July 26 2022:
Dr Augustine Kshetrimayum son of Prof Rajendra Kshetri and Dr Binota Meinam of Singjamei Chingamakha Oinam Leirak, has done Manipur proud on being appointed as Associate Professor at the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP), Kolkata, an Autonomous Research Institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt, of India.
Prior to joining the Institute, he served as Post Doctoral Scientist at the Department of Physics, Freie University, Berlin, Germany.
A first class honours graduate in Physics from Hansraj College, University of Delhi, Dr Augustine did his Masters in Physics from King's College, London (UK) with distinction.
He earned his PhD in Physics from University of Mainz, Germany, with the grade 'Summa Cum Laude' (best in Germany) .
He has to his credit more than 14 research papers in peer reviewed high impact journals such as Review of Modem Physics, Nature Communications, Physical Review, Physical Review Letters etc.

Dr Augustine has delivered more than 30 scientific talks in international conferences besides attending more than 20 international conferences.
He is also Referee of highly reputed journals such as Physical Review Journals (American Physical Society, USA) since 2020, New Journal of Physics (Institute of Physics Publishing, UK) since 2017, European Physics Journal since 2019 etc.
He is also a Reviewer of Austrian Academy of Sciences.
