Capt Imochaoba conferred 'Delhi Ratna' award

Captain Kshetrimayum Imochaoba Singh has been honoured with 'Delhi Ratna' by Bharat Manch during the Delhi Ratna Award 2022 held at Dr Ambedkar International Center in New Delhi on Sunday.
Captain Imochaoba, who is a professional Hot Air Balloon Instructor with experience of 2874 hours of flying in his career of 27 years, is the only civilian to train the Indian Army and Indian Navy.
He will also be representing India in the 24th FAI World Hot Air Balloon Championship to be held on September 22 and has been a team member of National Geographic.
On winning the recognition, Captain Imochaoba Singh extended gratitude to the organisers for honouring him with the 'Delhi Ratna' award.
"Getting such a prestigious award is always gratifying and pleasing," he said, while giving credit for his success to his family, his superiors and juniors for always guiding and motivating him.
