Lilong Vet hospital, PHSC filled with inadequacies

All Manipur Muslim Development Organisation (AMMDO) has conveyed that the Veterinary Hospital and the Primary Health Sub Centre in Lilong are filled with inadequacies.
In a release, AMMDO secretary general Kh Wahidur Rahman informed that they along with members of PSO inspected the present condition of the veterinary hospital and the PHSC.
When the inspection team visited the veterinary hospital to enquire about the inadequacies, they found only two staffers present.
Moreover, the building of the hospital is in a shabby condition, he revealed.
Wahidur further informed that the team also visited the PHSC located at Lilong Haoreibi Turel Ahanbi Chingkham Maning Ubak Thong and no one was there at the centre.
The health centre, which is in the heart of Lilong, is of great importance to the people of Lilong.
But it is unsafe for the patients and the building with mud walls not compatible with contemporary society.
Moreover, the centre was set up in a room having a narrow space of only 10 square feet, he pointed out.
He urged the government to look into the veterinary hospital and the health centre which are filled with inadequacies and develop them in tune with the changing time.
Wahidur further exhorted the people, local clubs and organisations to help AMMDO in exposing irresponsible government officials.
