Mao Council hails appointment of Dr Lokho

The Mao Council has extended its prayerful wishes to Mao native civil service officer (IFS) Dr Lokho Puni for being appointed to a coveted post as member of Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) for a period of six years.
In a congratulatory note signed by general secretary of the Council, Lokho Ozho prayed that the new assignment be a blessing and be guided by God as the officer venture out shouldering the higher responsibilities entrusted.
The office further acknowledged the state chief minister N Biren Singh for reposing faith and confidence on Puni and assigning the said post.
Mention may be made that an order was issued on June 17 by chief secretary Dr Rajesh Kumar that appointed PCCI/climate change & FCA Dr Lokho Puni as member of Manipur Public Service Commission for a period of 6 years.
The note further stated that the Council look forward to his steadfast and embedded uprightness in the days to come.
"The Mao community is overwhelmed and honoured at the accomplishment and success story as the officer hold this prestigious post," added the release.
