Imphal, May 17 2023: Arambai Tenggol has extended its appreciation to the people who have donated relief items including clothes and medicines to help the people affected by the recent civic disturbances in Manipur.

In a release, Arambai Tenggol stated that the Tenggol has been successfully conducting free medical camps in relief camps opened at different places with the support provided by various generous individuals.

"Thus, Arambai Tenggol will not be accepting donations in all forms related to the medical camp temporarily", it added.

Arambai Tenggol has also appealed to the public to check the condition of the items especially clothes and utensils before donating it to the relief camps to ensure that the items are usable.

"The people taking shelter at the relief camps are our brethren who have been displaced and forced to leave their home due to the recent violence", it added.

Arambai Tenggol also appealed to the individuals/ groups or Government officials who are organising medical camps to carry out proper diagnosis/ examination before prescribing medicines to the patients and check the expiry dates of the medicines.

Calling for peace, unity & harmony in Manipur, Arambai Tenggol further appealed to the public to not spread rumour or get carried away by hearsay.
