NHIDCL organises medical camp at Katomei UPS

NHIDCL's Project Monitoring Unit, Senapati on Thursday organised its CSR activity and medical camp at Katomei Centre Upper Primary School.
During the event, NHIDCL & Project Monitoring Unit Senapati general manager (P) Shankar Bhowmik, highlighted the importance of safe drinking water to ensure healthy life.
While expressing gratitude to the doctors for voluntary participation in the medical camp at the school, Shankar Bhowmik also thanked the deputy commissioner, SDOs and others of the district administration for smooth conduct of the same.
Meanwhile, Senapati SDO Lunguiba Thangal commend ed the NHIDCL for its concern for the local school children and for donating Aqua water purifier to the school with an aim to provide safe drinking water to the students.
Dr Angshim Dangsawa, SDO Paomata, in his speech advised the young.
students not to be discouraged by their economically disadvantaged backgrounds, but to give their best in studies to become successful persons in future.
Nothing comes easy in life, but hard work is the most important key to success, he added.
The SDO also appreciated NHIDCL's CSR activities as village chairman Peter Rangnamei extended gratitude to the NHIDCL for its generosity to the school chil dren who mostly belong to economically disadvantaged families of the region.
DNO Dr Agui, spoke on proper hygiene, hand hygiene and menstrual hygiene management.
Apart from donating an Aqua water purifier, the NHIDCL also provided first aid medicines, sanitary napkins and face masks to the school.
