BJP Khundrakpam Mandal restricts intending candidates

Khundrakpam BJP Mandal president Moirangthem Devaratan has informed that a decision has been taken on disallowing all the six BJP intending candidates in Khundrakpam AC from conducting BJP related activities in 74 villages of the assembly constituency.
Informing this to media persons during a press conference held at Yumnam Khunou community hall on Sunday, Devaratan said that formation of Khundrakpam AC Mandal by six BJP intending candidates namely T Mina, Th Muhindro, I Mangiton, Dr Ksh Kala, Elangbam Sobit and Keithellakpam Ronel and appointment of Kangabam Hemanta as president of the Mandal was very unfortunate.
In view of their act which is akin to encouraging election of non-BJP candidate from the constituency, a meet ing of BJP Khundrakpam BJP Mandal and its units like Mahila Morcha, Yuva Morcha, OBC Morcha, ST Morcha, Kishan Morcha, Minority Morcha, Shakti Kendra and Lotus Club was held on Sunday.
The meeting attended by president and secretaries of the BJP Khundrakpam BJP Mandal and its units resolved to ban all the six BJP intending candidates from conducting any activity related with the party in 74 villages of the constituency, Devaratan added.
According to Devaratan, members of BJP Khundrakpam Mandal have been working hard to strengthen the party with the enrolment of more than 5,000 members and the Mandal was formed as per the advice of state BJP.
He also said that BJP Khundrakpam Mandal has been executing calendar programmes of the party and had convened more than 250 meetings so far to ensure that BJP candidate emerge victorious in the constituency.
He also asked if the new Mandal formed by the six intending candidates have enrolled any member or how many active members they have produced.
Devaratan also clarified that there is no division in BJP Khundrakpam Mandal.
