Imphal, April 28 2015 :
Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) has appealed not to sideline medical ethics and use patients to blackmail in order to achieve demands from the State Government.
DESAM's appeal came considering the trouble faced by patients at JNIMS due to the recent 'Cease Work Strike' by doctors and 'Sit-in-protest' conducted by nurses of JNIMS.
DESAM in the press release issued by its General Secretary, P Premchandra appreciates suspension of strike by the doctors and appeals the same from the nurses.
DESAM further assured its support in all development drive to make JNIMS a corruption free institution.
