Students, teachers of Princeton school honoured

The annual prize distribution ceremony of Princeton International School, Kshetri Awang Leikai was held at its premises on Saturday.
Apart from distributing prizes to outstanding students of the school who topped in different fields, Rs 2 lakh reward was also given to teachers for producing excellent students.
The event was attended by School chief patron and Kshetrigao MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan, SBMT chairperson Husne Bhanu, ministry of external affairs joint director Noor Rahman Sheikh and SBTM trustee Sheikh Kamran as presidium members.
In his address, Noor Rahman exhorted the students to work hard to become successful individuals in life and also called upon teachers to focus towards producing good students.
He also advised students to imbibe sense of discipline and never to forget their origin while maintaining that a student with good discipline and behaviour would succeed in life.
MLA Noorul Hassan also said that students should never waste time to become successful in life and recalled contributions made by his late father Noor Mohammed in establishing the school, which the Sheikh Brothers are bearing the entire cost of running the school to fulfil Noor Mohammed's dream of ensuring social equality through proper education.
More than 300 students of the school were encouraged at the event by presenting different prizes while teachers of the school honoured by giving a cash incentive of Rs 2 lakh for achieving cent percent pass percentage in higher secondary examination conducted by CoHSEM this year.
