Imphal, March 26 2015:
All India Students' Federation (AISF) has expressed unhappiness on Wednesday over the alleged failure of the authority concerned to resolve the issue of Khergao
High School.
AISF in a release drew the attention of Deputy Commissioner, Imphal East, Education (S) Commissioner, Education (S) Director and Additional Director, and ZEO Zone II to resolve the issue of Khergao Primary School.
It said the Head Mistress of Khergao Primary High School had earlier repeatedly requested the authorities concerned to take action in connection with the incident of vandalisation of the school's verandah by some miscreants in December last year.
AISF said the School has three rooms out of which two are now kept locked by the local club which is using them as its own storeroom.
It claimed that a group of people led by secretary of Khergao Club vandalized the school verandah last year and since then the three rooms of the school have been occupied by the club.
The federation said it is concerned about all students of the school who have stopped attending classes since the incident.
