ATSUM, Noney scribes greet on Christmas

All Tribal Students' Union Manipur (ATSUM) on Saturday sent out its Christmas greetings to the people of the state and wished for peace, strength and hope in such difficult times.
In a statement marked as Christmas message, ATSUM wished that tidings of comfort and joy find its way into ones heart this Christmas season after a challenging year.
"As we celebrate Christmas, let's do away with hatred, parochialism and communal diatribes among ourselves," the ATSUM said referring to the ADC Bill movement, which it said was about justice, fairness and empowerment for the weaker people of the state.
The movement in actuality is for the unity and integrity of Manipur state, it added.
ATSUM also prayed that better sense prevails in the minds of each and every one so that peace and prosperity reign over the land.
Noney (Longmai) District Working Journalists Union (NoDWJU) also extended its heartiest Christmas greetings to all people of the state particularly the Christian community.
"May this joyous festival brings peace, prosperity and communal harmony in our state.
And let the external love of Lord Jesus Christ fill our heart forever", said a release by union president G Pouhoi and general secretary SK Agui.
