Health Camp conducted at Tamu

Imphal, June 16 2014:
A one-day free health camp was held today at Tamu Hospital, Myanmar under the joint aegis of Indo ASEAN Friendship Organisation Manipur (IAFOM) and Lions Club of Imphal.
The camp which was conducted by a team of 35 members including 14 specialist doctors, 2 technicians and 21 volunteers from IAFOM and Lions club of Imphal provided consultation to over a thousand people, besides distributing free medicine worth over 4 Lacs of rupees.
The camp was made possible because of the collective support of SDPO/ Immigration Officer, Moreh N.Sadananda and D.C.Tamu division Zawzaw with their respective staffs, a release of the organising committee said.
Besides the supports from Doctors, Nurses and staff of Tamu Hospital, Lions Club of Moreh also extended help in organising the camp, while all medicines were sponsored by different pharmaceutical companies of India.
In a joint release, Indo Asean Friendship Organisation Manipur and Lions Club of Imphal have expressed gratitude to all who extended help and support to the camp.
