Un-movable patients advised to avail eSanjeevani OPD

Covid and non-Covid patients needing medical care but unable to visit healthcare centres may avail benefit of eSanjeevani OPD.
According to an office memorandum issued by State Mission Director (Health Society) Dr N Shyamjai, eSanjeevani district in-charges have been instructed to strengthen eSanjeevani OPS so that basic healthcare requirements are provided to the people as movement for availing health services has been restricted to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.
The office memorandum also said that Community Health Officer (CHO) of each Health and Wellness Centre (HWC) should facilitate/supervise at least 10 patients daily to communicate with telemedicine hub.
Medical Superintendents of district hospitals, sub district hospitals and MO in-charges of CHC/PHC should make all concerned aware about steps of tele-consultation and eSanje-evani OPD through ANM and ASHA, it said.
Patients possessing e-prescription generated through eSanjeevani OPD will avail free diagnostic and free EDL drugs, the memorandum said adding that telephone No 0385-2441233 is the helpline number of State Common Room of eSanjeevani.
Specialist and general duty MOs will be available from 10am to 4pm on all working days while Telemedicine (eSanjeevani.in) will be operational at State Headquarters/COVID-19 Common Control Room.
The office memorandum also said six PHCs and six HWCs have been identified as Spokes and allowance will be given as per existing norms.
