BJP chief Nadda to visit state on Oct 9,10

Imphal, October 05 2021:
In connection with 12th Ma-nipur Legislative Assembly election likely to be held in early part of 2022, BJP national president JP Nadda is scheduled to visit the state for two days starting from October 9 .
In connection with the scheduled visit of BJP national president, chief minister N Biren convened a joint meeting with BJP ministers and MLAs of ruling parties late Monday evening.
A detailed discussion on the visit of BJP national president was also held on Tuesday at BJP office at Nityaipat Chuthek.
The meeting chaired by state president Sharda Devi was also attended by office bearers of the party's state unit.
MP Leishemba Sanajaoba, education minister S Rajen and TA & Hills minister Vungzagin Valte also attended the meet.
Sources in the know of itinerary of BJP national president's visit informed that JP Nadda's schedule will be very hectic and will not be an easy one.
During his stay in Imphal, Nadda will meet BJP ministers, MPs and MLAs and hold election related meetings including with core committee.
The source also informed that there is possibility of holding a reception ceremony of some Congress MLAs during JP Nadda's visit.
The source further said that JP Nadda would attend a reception ceremony with cultural troupes outside Tulihal airport and then move to Nambol to address a public meeting.
After returning from Nambol, the BJP national president will meet representatives of different groups separately at Hotel Classic Grande.
Later, he would attend BJP core committee meet and then hold talks with MPs, ministers and MLAs at the hotel.
On October 10, JP Nadda would visit Shree Shree Govindaji temple at 8.10m and would have breakfast at the residence of titular king MP Leishemba Sanajaoba.
The same day, Nadda would inaugurate BJP offices of Thoubal and Bishnupur units at Nityaipat Chuthek.
He would also unveil statues of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Deen Dayal Upadhaya.
He is also scheduled to meet elderly people of Vichar Parivar and outstanding personalities of the state, and attend a cultural programme before departing for New Delhi.
