Meeyamgi Numit organised at Kakching DC office

Kakching district administration organised Meeyamgi Numit (People's Day) for Kakching district on Monday at DC office complex, here.
After inaugurating the programme, Kakching Zila Parishad adhyakshya Phuritsabam Jiten Singh told media persons that Meeyamgi Numit is organised under the instruction of chief min ister while Additional DC A Adahrii Maheo informed that Meeyamgi Numit for Kakching district will be organised on the first Monday of every month at the same venue.
Altogether, 30 departments opened their stalls for delivering public services and addressing public grievances.
Among the services provided/grievance redressed on Monday, included processes for 19 Birth Certificate registration by Kakching Municipal Council, ISO ration card issued by CAF & PD District Supply Officer Kakching along with remedying 30 cards.
Water Resources Department, Kakching also received proposal for improvement of river bund along Sekmai river in between Kakching and Sekmai bridges.
Proposals were also made for providing flood fighting materials and periodical inspection of sites along river banks.
Kakching SDO issued 17 Income certificates and two residential certificates whereas Waikhong SDO issued four income certificates, eight birth certificates and three death certificates.
Under CMHT and AB-PMJAY, 10 cards and 120 forms were issued and under Rural Engineering Department, 20 persons enquired for work PMGSY work).
District Agricultural Office of Thoubal/Kakching distributed micro nutrient fertilizer to 200 farmers while 20 people were counselled by ITI Kakching on skill development.
Public Works Department also received complaint about Sekmaijin Bridge approach road whereas free seedlings were also distributed to 219 people and seven individuals enquired on forest matters.
Mention may be made that Meeyamgi Numit is a service platform for the public to address their grievances.
Hundreds of people turned up to highlight their grievances wherein district level officers attended the programme.
