Govt allotted ambulances handed over to CMO

Senapati, June 28 2021:
The three ambulances allotted recently to ADC Senapati were handed over to the district's chief medical officer by ADC Senapati chairman incharge A Kapani in the presence of CEO Senapati, medical department and ADC staff.
Mention may be made here that chief minister N Biren Singh had distributed the ambulances to six ADCs of the state under Tribal Affairs and Hills, Manipur as part of the second phase of the distribution.
One Basic Life Support (BLS) each for Senapati and Tamenglong ADCs was part of the distribution.
DC Senapati Mahesh Chaudhari during the event said that the ambulances would be utilised for the community in the fight against the pandemic and expressed gratitude to the TA & Hills department under the able leadership of the chief minister for providing the same.
In his brief speech, A Kapani stated that there is good cooperation between the ADC and the district administration in the effort to contain the spread of the virus and mentioned how ADC's ambulance was used to transport bodies of Covid-19 victims.
The ADC chairman in-charge then expressed hope that three ambulances will enable extensive emergency services during the current pandemic and beyond, and provide a major fillip to the chief minister's mission to ensure quality healthcare for all.
On the other hand, Dr Ksh Shyamkishor Singh, veterinary officer, ADC Senapati distributed FFG (Fast Fast Growth) kuroiler breed to 125 beneficiaries of Rural Backyard Poultry Farming Scheme under the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry department.
In all, 21 Low Input Technology birds are given to each of the selected BPL families annually.
