Health for All launched in Thoubal district

Thoubal, October 16 2021:
'CM's Health For All' scheme launched recently by chief minister N Biren as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration in connection with the 75th year of India's independence was also launched in Thoubal district.
The scheme was formally launched in the district by National Health Mission Manipur State Mission director Dr N Shyamjai at Health and Wellness Centre, Wangkhem on Saturday winch was followed by door-to-door health screening of people.
The launch function was also attended by CMO Thoubal Dr Y Nokul, NHM Manipur additional SPM Govind Salam and CHC Yairipok MO Dr M Rakesh among others.
According to Dr N Shyamjai, 'CM's Health for All' scheme was launched on October 14 to conduct health screening of people by going to every household of the state with the main objective of keeping entire citizens fit and healthy.
In the first phase, 1628 villages of 16 districts of the state were selected to conduct health screening which include two villages each covered by HWC Haokha and Wangkhem.
Health screeningf providing benefits under Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariy-ojana (PMBJP) like detection of diabetes, hypertension, s.troke, kidney and heart diseases are covered under the scheme, he said and appealed to doctors, nurses, ASHAs and others to make collective effort for successful implementation of the scheme.
