Sharda leaves to meet PM, party chief

Imphal, July 11 2021:
BJP Manipur Pradesh president Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi has left Imphal for New Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president JP Nadda to discuss strategy for the forthcoming state assembly elections.
In a span of four days, Sharda will also meet several national leaders of the party and draw plans for comprehensive victory in the assembly election, which is due early next year.
She was accorded warm welcome by women workers of the party's Delhi unit at Delhi airport upon her arrival in the national capital.
Mention may be made here that Sharda had held the post of national vice-president of BJP Mahila Morcha.
On the other hand, a statement issued by BJP Manipur Pradesh general secretary P Premananda said that Shar-da's visit is to thank Prime Minister Modi for inducting Dr RK Ranjan as minister of state for education and external affairs.
She will also meet Dr RK Ranjan apart from discussing election strategy with other party leaders, the statement added.
