Amit Shah reviews situation with MLAs

Union home minis-ter Amit Shah met around 40 MLAs belonging to different political parties and discussed about the prevailing situation in the state at the CM's secretariat late Thesday evening.
The meeting attended by MLAs of BJP, NPF, NPP and independent started from 7pm and continued till 9pm.As per sources, Amit Shah advised the MLAs to reach out to the people and work to-wards de-escalation of tension.
Through the MLAs, Amit Shah appealed to people of the valley to have faith in central forces who are deployed to contain the violence.
He also made clear to the MLAs that containing the ongoing violence would be difficult if central forces are not allowed to move from one place to another.
While assuring that territory and integrity of Manipur will not be disturbed at all, he ap-pealed to the MLAs to discard fear of distortion of territorial integrity of Manipur.
The Home minister also informed the MLAs that adequate central and state forces will be deployed at vulnerable areas.
Amit Shah also said that there can be solution through dialogues when people of the state maintain calmness.
