Private schools advised to complete online exam

Imphal, December 24 2021:
All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) has instructed private schools particularly those which are members of the Association to conduct online examination for primary section (Class I to VIII) within second week of January.
In a release, AMRPSWA secretary Nongthombam Joykumar said that the online examination is to be conducted as online classes were effectively done and the syllabus covered.
The Association has been trying to plug academic loopholes in teaching-learning process so as to impart of quality education to the students.
He maintained that promotion should not be given as such a system is one of the deterrents to formal education.
Even though school authorities may decrease the full mark, online examination for important subjects is a must, the secretary stressed.
While demanding to complete all tests/exams for Class I to IX within the month of January, Joykumar further directed that the results should be declared within last week of January 2022.The schools should complete all the admission processes for the new session 2022 and ready for classes following the academic year set by the government, he added.
