Unsurprisingly, this development comes in the backdrop of recent 1ED blast at the gate of Little Flower School, imphal after an alleged monetary demands served to several private schools by militant groups.
Armed militant groups in the state have, arguably, became more aggressive and frightening as they threaten their targets with bombings and murders, it observed.
The KSO unit also condemned the murder of Anand Gupta on Friday by unknown miscreant(s) and questioned the district administration and police as to how could such unwanted killing which has the propensity to disturb law and order could be meted out to the civilian right under their nose.
The onus now falls upon the district administration to show its commitment by working with the police to pursue those responsible for this heinous act, it said.
