Imphal, October 21 2015:
Executive members and five advisors of Apunba Manipur Matam Isei Kanglup (AMMIK) resigned en masse on Wednesday before the completion of their term.
During a press meet held at the residence of AMMIK secretary B Netachandra in Brahmapur Nahabam, AMMIK joint secretary Joy Mayengbam said that the office bearers had resigned on moral grounds after they failed to follow the principles of the organization.
Executive member Narendra Ningomba said that the advisors and executive members of AMMIK which were elected for the tenure of three years will formally submit their resignation papers on Thursday to the Life Time President Laishram Birendrakumar.
The decision was not forced by any organization or any person because the members resign moral grounds, said Narendra Ningomba.
