Launch of Online Building Permission System on Sept 15

MAHUD minister Y Khemchand has said that the Manipur Online Building Permission System will be launched on September 15 and people of the state will avail benefits of the system within one week of the launch.
The MAHUD minister made this announcement during a discussion session on 'IMC Building Bye-laws' organised by Manipur Architects' Forum in connection with its 9th Foundation Day at City Convention Centre, here, on Tuesday.
Taking part in the discussion session, Y Khemchand said that all the preparations for launching the Manipur Online Building Permission System on September 15 have been made with the help of Manipur Architects' Forum.
While lauding the role played by Manipur Architects' Forum in developing the system, Y Khemchand said that a thorough discussion with IMC is required as registration for online submission has to be made by architects.
He also said that 100 e-bicycles under Imphal Smart City programme have been procured and 21 parking sites for these e-bicycles have been developed and the programme will be launched very soon.
Chief town planner of town planning department N Ben-ju Singh, who also took part in the discussion, said that volunteers of Manipur Architects' Forum extended help in developing concept design of roads of Thangal and Paona bazar apart from developing Manipur Online Building Permission System.
The discussion session was also attended by Manipur Architects' Forum president A Jaychandra and retired IAS officer RK Nimai.
Later, a workshop on IMC Bye-law (2nd Amendment), 2022 was held at the same venue.
