Dr Nara calls for unity among smaller parties

CPI State Council's secretary Dr M Nara who is contesting for the Inner Manipur Parliamentary seat in the upcoming Lok Sabha Polls, on Saturday called on all the smaller political parties for grouping together to make up strength to take on the bigger ones.
Dr Nara was addressing an election campaign organised by NCP, Naoriya Pakhanglakpa unit at Hiyangthang in Imphal West.
Dr Nara, who is also the common candidate of Left and Secular Alliance (LSA), a pre-poll alliance of seven political parties of the State, chided some political parties for making bad remarks to misjudge the alliance.
He maintained that smaller political outfits are uniting themselves for a brighter future in the State, said that smaller political parties must join hands together to shape the State and bring change.
He alleged the present Government of the Congress in the State is run by a handful of contractors.
At the meet, S Sobhachandra of NCP Naoriya Pakhanglakpa, Ksh Shanta of CPI-M and other leaders of LSA constituent parties were also present.
