Shyamkumar calls for stand against hate politics

Asserting that some politicians are playing a dirty game of politics by creating enmity and mistrust among the public, ex- MLA of Andro AC arid advisor to CM Thounaojam Shyamkumar has called upon the people of Andro assembly constituency to take a stand against such hate politics and teach them the right lesson in the forthcoming assembly election.
Attending a booth level committee meeting of Tumukhong polling station number 7/42 on Wednesday, Shyamkumar said that he will do everything in his power to wipe out hate politics from Andro AC and bring peace and development among the people of the constituency irrespective of their caste or creed.
He called upon the people to support him in the forthcoming election to further the development initiatives he has taken up so far.
Regarding an allegation levelled against him of giving away land of Andro to government for taking up projects in public private partnership model, the ex-MLA said that the charge is baseless and challenged that he would end his political career if anybody can produce proof of the allegation.
The northernmost foothill area of Andro AC was one of the least developed areas but today it has good school buildings, market shed and community halls for providing basic amenities to the public, he said.
Quality education to the younger generations is very important which is why he is focussing on this sector.
As a result of his efforts, education sector in Andro AC is witnessing major improvement today.
He had also taken up major initiatives in health sector through which condition of several health centres across the constituency has been improved.
Now, several road projects for Andro AC have been included in the government's work programme and it is only a matter of time before those projects commence, he said.
Office bearers of BJP Andro Mandal, Tumukhong Village Development Authority, local clubs and Meira Paibi members also attended the meeting, during which the participants resolved to support Shyamkumar in the forthcoming 12th Manipur
Legislative Assembly election.
