Morung Express Sr Photojournalist no more

Mahong Soreishim, a senior photojournalist of Nagaland- based daily The Morung Express, passed away in Dimapur on Wednesday.
The deceased photojournalist hailed from Choithar village in Ukhrul district.
Meanwhile, Ukhrul District Working Journalists' Association (UDWJA) has expressed deep condolences over the sudden demise of Mahong Soreishim and termed his passing away as a colossal loss not just for the newspaper firm he was working for but also for the entire press fraternity of the district.
"At this hour of grief, we sincerely share the pain and sorrow of the bereaved family.
May the Almighty grant strength and courage to the family to cope with the tragedy, " the association said.
In the same vein, the Ko-hima Press Club (KPC) has mourned the untimely demise of its member.
In a condolence message, KPC president Alice Yhostiu and general secretary Ato-no Tsiikrii Kense stated that the club is deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the demise of a dear friend and colleague on October 27, 2021 in Dimapur.
They said that the Kohima Press Club would remember Sorei in many ways - "as a gentleman with a huge smile and a great sense of humour, and as a professional photojournalist who always told great and profound stories through his work/photography".
"To Sorei's family, we offer our most sincere condolences.
Words are not enough to comfort you at this difficult time but we pray to our Almighty God to grant you solace.
As you grieve, know that we are with you in remembering and honouring him".
"To Sorei, you shall be dearly missed.
Requiescat in Pace!," the statement added.
