Medical Camp held

The 27th Sector Assam Rifles organized the seventh phase of Jaipur Foot, Medical and Dental Camp at Synod Hall, IB Road in Churachandpur district today.
Inaugurated by Brig.
Advitya Madan, Commander of the 27th Sector AR, the Camp provided new artificial limbs to 12 beneficiaries whose measurements were taken during the last phase of the camp.
In an effort to facilitate more beneficiaries, new cases were also invited to take measurements for fitting new limbs during the next camp.
According to officials, free artificial limb camp since it inception has received an overwhelming response from the local populace of Churachandpur.
At least 80 persons have so far been benefitted in the series of such camps in which Doctors from both 1/11 Gorkha regiments and 7 Sector AR treated the patients and distributed free medicines.
A free medical and dental camp was organized this time along with free artificial limb provisioning camp, with an aim to provide medical assistance to the maximum needy persons in the district.
